川越氷川神社で結ぶ「結い紐」

川越氷川神社は、縁結びの神さま。
「夫婦円満・縁結びの神様」として有名ですね。

でも、“縁”とは、家族、友人、仕事など、すべての縁をさすものだそう。
木々や水、夏には風鈴の音も聞こえてくるこの神社に、
一度は訪れてみたいですね。

Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine is the god of marriage.
It is famous as the god of marital bliss and match-making.

But the word 'karma' refers to all relationships, including those with family, friends and work.
The shrine is surrounded by trees and water, and in summer you can even hear the sound of wind chimes.
I would like to visit this shrine at least once.

川越はがき「川越氷川神社」

家庭円満、縁結びの神社として知られる川越氷川神社。
結婚式では、巫女が赤い水引で編み上げた「結い紐」を
新郎新婦お互いの左手小指に結び合います。

春には誉桜、夏は縁むすび風鈴など、
氷川神社には四季折々の美しい風景が広がります。
自然に囲まれた中で、近しい人たちと開く結婚式。
和婚の風情漂う風景を、はがきに起こしました。

Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine is known as a shrine of family happiness and marriage. At weddings, shrine maidens tie a 'yui string' woven
from red mizuhiki (a traditional Japanese cord) to the little finger
of the bride and groom's left hand.

The Hikawa Shrine is also home to a variety of seasonal events, such as cherry blossoms in spring and the Enmusubi wind chime in summer.
Hikawa Shrine offers beautiful seasonal scenery.
A wedding ceremony is held with close friends and family in the midst of nature. The Japanese wedding ceremony, with its Japanese atmosphere, has been made into a postcard.

作って楽しみ、飾って愉しむ「起こし文」
「下町の風情ある景色を、カタチに残したい」
そんな思いから生まれた作品です。

日本全国にある実際の建物や景色を
一枚のはがきに残し、
誰かの心に残し、
これからも伝えていきたいです。

川越編では、氷川神社をはじめ、
時の鐘や蔵造りの街並みなど、川越の名所と
コラボした作品をデザインしました！

This work was born from such a desire.

The actual buildings and landscapes throughout Japan are left on a single postcard.
I would like to leave them in someone's heart and
I would like to continue to pass them on.

In the Kawagoe section, we have included the Hikawa Shrine, the Bell of Time and the streets of Kura-zukuri.
We have designed a work in collaboration with famous places in Kawagoe, including Hikawa Shrine, the Bell of Time and the Kura-zukuri Quarter!
